*Opening : 10/4(Fri) 7-9pm
Flossy will be present.

At gallery commune

We are having an exhibition of Melbourne-based graphic designer/artist, Flossy ”Silver Line” starting on 4th Fri, Oct.

Silver line is an expansion of Flossy’s collage process. Collating and arranging found and collected, hair clips and keyrings, giving them a second life.

Some works are presented in and based around found vintage frames, repurposing their use like childhood charmed objects. In this body she has moved to collaging outside of the frame as well.

While Floss traditionally explores hidden poetry through both words and images, her image based collages explore more of a mystic form of the same nature through hidden symbols, textures and gestural feelings. Encouraging the viewer to create their own world they came from and exist in. These are new tokens of nostalgia and fantasy.
